Here is the code to the DiDev “Engine”. It isn’t much, but some people may find it useful enough.
For the sake of my wrists, I’ll just let you read the readme included in the zip file (even though there isn’t much in it).
Download
Good luck.

So Bugz was officially released to the iTunes App Store in late November. You can find a link to it at our (DiDev) site.

And, well, that’s all I really have to say about that. I’m happy it’s finally out there. Sales haven’t been great, but as a new commercial developer, it’s all you can ask for. I am happy with the end result. The online scoring is up and working. So far we haven’t seen any cheating which is a plus. Unfortunately, due to the way Apple does their billing, I won’t be paid until around February, but I can deal with that. What really irks me is that Bugz never ended up in the “New” section of the App Store, which I just do not understand. There are games there from August/September/October and even some from now in December, but Bugz was never there.

As for reviews, we’ve had some fairly good comments made about Bugz. It’s generally been perceived pretty well.

In other news, I have to go to school tomorrow, which really sucks. It’s, what, 3 days until Christmas? I want my winter break dammit!

I’ve been trying to come up with a new iPhone game idea. Still a bit stuck as to what to do. I have a few ideas, but nothing catchy or anything. I want to do a puzzle game this time.

Well, that’s all for now. I’ll see you guys next time.

Happy Holidays from your friend, jp.

For those of you who aren’t aware of the original Bugz (Made by David Perry), it is a game based off of the fun and addicting flash game, Boomshine. It contained 17 levels, mulitple profiles, and online scores. I have teamed up with David to create iBugz, the iPhone port of Bugz. However we have made a few changes.

iBugz contains 85 levels, instead of the original 17 levels.

We added certain difficulty modifiers, such as time limits, special bugz, and blockers.

We are adding a “Challenge” mode, to specify the difficulty modifiers yourself.

Now, for a little preview.
